The first job of any recruitment software system is to allow users to record as much information as possible in a fast and reliable way. ApplicantExtraTM excels at this by allowing you to easily upload CV’s/Resumes from MS Outlook, your PC desktop or your website and then create accurate, data rich searchable Candidate records with original as well as client-ready CV’s attached.

With the help of features like the Sovren CV parser, ApplicantExtraTM can seamlessly extract key candidate address and contact information as well as vocational and educational history. The system will also find and suggest your own keyword skill, qualification and role matches that can be used to code-up the candidate record for later searches.

Search and Match vacancies to candidates easily.

The key to the ApplicantExtraTM recruitment system’s success is the power and flexibility of its searching and matching functions. Matching candidates and vacancies can be done bi-directionally, in other words you can find candidates to match a vacancies needs or match vacancies that need a candidates abilities. There is also the choice to speculatively find contacts that have used a particular candidate’s skills in the past.

Criteria Searching: Use your own lists of skills, roles, qualifications and locations to find suitable candidates.

CV Searching: Every CV uploaded to the ApplicantExtraTM recruitment software database is searchable so you can use keywords to look for the right candidate.

Candidate List: The candidate list allows you search on almost any field in the candidate record.

All the results from these searches can be sent to our Automailer module that will allow you to Email, Text/SMS or generate letters and labels.

Also items in these result lists can be shortlisted so that you can track and manage the candidate’s progress through the recruitment process.

Log all communication easily against everyone involved.

In ApplicantExtraTM, everything has an events list, a place where all relevant actions and notes are stored and filtered. So if a candidate or contact is on the phone you can quickly log that conversation against either their record or one of their vacancies or one of their vacancies shortlist items. If you receive email from or send one to a contact or candidate you can quickly import that email into ApplicantExtraTM via our MS Outlook integration buttons and menu items.

Post Adverts to Thousands of Job Sites.

ApplicantExtraTM has the ability to send your Vacancy details directly to various Job advertising websites such as Total Jobs, Caterer, Retails Choice, Sales Target as well as Monster and Job Serve.In addition, ApplicantExtraTM also integrates seamlessly with the Broadbean Adcourier system which allows you to post to almost every job advertising network in the UK and a growing number around the world. So if your advertising needs are common or niche we can usually accommodate them this way.

Some of these job sites will also allow you to redirect applicants to other web locations (rather than using their standard application form).  ApplicantExtraTM can utilise this by sending applicants to your own websites application form if you choose website integration. This will then send the CV/Resume and candidate details directly to your recruitment database for further processing.

List your Vacancies on your own Website.

ApplicantExtraTM can integrate closely with your own website, allowing you to display a searchable list of your current vacancies with a look and feel identical to that of your site design.In addition the details and CV’s/Resumes of the applicants to these vacancies will appear in a holding area in ApplicantExtraTM database.

Access your records from anywhere.

As long as you have a mobile or fixed line internet connection, you can access your data on PC, Laptop or Netbook. ApplicantExtra is a SaaS (Software as a Service) application, that means your database would be hosted on our high-spec, high-reliability servers. These are housed and maintained in Dedipower’s cutting edge data facility in Reading, Berkshire UK. Dedipower are one of the most respected dedicated server hosting providers in Europe and have invested heavily in backup power supplies, backup data pipes and high quality network hardware.As well as Dedipower’s fail over procedures we also implement a nightly offsite data backup and reconstruction to a second tier of servers in Chester, UK. These servers are mirrors of our live servers so you always have access to your data from two completely separate locations.

Share your records with colleagues wherever they are.

As this is an online service, your office is where ever you are and colleagues can be using the service simultaneously from anywhere else. This facilitates home working, mobile working, internet cafes, multiple site companies, internationally spread companies and individuals.

Edit documents attached to records without re-uploading.

Unlike many SaaS* applications, ApplicantExtraTM can integrate closely with MS Word which allows us to implement in-place document editing. This means when you edit a document that is attached to a record in ApplicantExtraTM, any changes will be automatically uploaded back to the original record on the server. No more saving locally and re-uploading.In addition this feature allows us to keep a CV template with a branded header and footer on file so that you can easily create a client ready public CV from the original candidate CV.

Email and SMS your candidates and contacts from lists and records.

ApplicantExtraTM has a powerful intelligent email and SMS system called Automailer. Any record, list or result set that mentions a person in ApplicantExtraTM has an Automailer option allowing you to send ad-hoc or templated emails, SMS texts or Letters and labels using their contact data.

Use MS Outlook integration to easily synchronise calendar and mail items.

Unlike many SaaS* applications, ApplicantExtraTM can also integrate very closely with MS Outlook. This allows you export emails into ApplicantExtra events, export attached CV’s into candidate records and to synchronise ApplicantExtraTM reminders with the Outlook calendar system.
